SPoT is coming!

Hello all! Sorry I’ve been so quiet; life’s been pretty busy lately!

On December 10th my friend Katie Shanahan (Shrub Monkeys, Silly Kingdom) and I will be sharing a table at the Small Press of Toronto Winter Fair, located at the Hart House (U of T campus). As we’ve done in previous shows, we’ll be selling comics and art goodies! The event will run from 11am to 5pm.

Please come support your local indie writers and artists! Admission is free, so don’t miss out! :)

Fairy tales

A couple of mini watercolour paintings I made not long ago.  It’s always tricky to get the scanner to capture the original work as is, but these are pretty close.  I have to admit they do look better in person though.

I’m sure the first fairy tale is pretty obvious, but can you guess the second one? :)

The Word on the Street Festival – coming up on September 25th!

Hey guys!  Here’s one more festival coming up where I’ll be exhibiting!

The Word on the Street is a book festival taking place on the 25th of September from 11am to 6pm.  Please come by and say hi; besides the fact that it’ll be super-awesome, it’s free admission!  I’ll be in the area called the Fringe Beat, dedicated to indie publishers.  I’ll be at table FB6 with the awesome Julie Faulkner and Brian Evinou!

I’ll of course be selling Fall on Me books Volumes 1 and 2, along with mini prints and art goodies :)

Fan Expo aftermath and a Little Prince

Fan Expo was a blast!  It was also very exhausting though!

I’ve posted pictures of the event in my Fall on Me’s Facebook page; be sure to check them out!

Also, here’s a little something I made not long ago:

The text on him is actually a fragment from The Little Prince; the bit when he is speaking with the fox and learning that he’s responsible for his rose.  I love that book so much!

He’s made with Bristol board, brush pen and Tria markers :)

I’m planning to sell him at the upcoming The Word on the Street festival!  Please come by to say hi! :)
