Commissions

Para informarse sobre mis comisiones de arte en español, por favor visiten esta página. ¡Gracias!

Commission status: Closed (for now)

Note: I will request half of the payment upfront. I will not start drawing otherwise! I’ve been burned a few times already by people who disappeared on me after the work was done. I never gave them the work, but still…it was a waste of effort, time and materials for me all the same. Not fun.

Also, please note the prices listed below are subject to change. A final price quote will be provided prior to the production of any commissioned piece.

Want me to draw something for you? To draw one character with a simple color splash or no background on a 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of paper (or of similar proportions) I charge the following rates:

I will only be sending you a high resolution file (300 dpi), so you may go ahead and make your own prints. If you want the original artwork, be sure to discuss it with me first so I can calculate shipping costs into the final price.

I work in stages, each to be approved by you: thumbnails, sketch, ink, colour <–(if applicable). I allow revisions during each stage (no more than 3!) where you can let me know how to change and tweak things so it can look the way you want. Once a stage is approved, I will not go back unless we work out an extra fee. Requesting too many re-dos and changes will affect your commission price, as I would need to make up for the extra time and effort to accommodate your needs.

When I make commissioned art, I still own the copyright of all artwork (character copyrights belong to the respective owners, of course!). I reserve the right to showcase commissioned artwork for portfolio purposes and, when applicable, to print/sell copies of it (I will not do the latter with portraits/cartoons of real people or with original characters; no worries. If this is a concern, please feel free to bring it up and we’ll discuss it). Art commissioned from me is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Please don’t sell my work! If you want to commission me for commercial/publishing purposes, please discuss it with me first and I’ll be glad to sort things out with you. Be aware that for commercial work my pricing will be adjusted according to industry standards and depending on what you ask for. Also, before I start to work, we will have to fill out a contract agreed upon and signed by all parties involved.

I preferably take Paypal as form of payment. If you cannot use Paypal and prefer to pay me in other means, please mention it in your email and we’ll work it out.

Please do not commission me to draw pornography, extreme violence/gore, etc. I will not accept it! Tasteful nudity is OK.

Email me with your requests to adriana @ littleteacup.net (without the spaces). When you email me, please make your subject line “Commission”.

When you make your request, please be specific about what you want (see list above) and give me as many details about your commission as you can…if you have reference pics, even better! That’ll help me immensely (though it’s not required). Of course, be sure to include your name and an email address so I can contact you.

If you have any more questions/comments, just let me know!

Thank you!
