Note on the third panel: I’ve never done that in real life, though part of me kind of wonders why not; considering it’s soooo hard to get him to answer any “either/or” question without a “yes” or a “no”.
I wonder if my starting to do things like this would motivate him to start paying closer attention to what I’m actually saying…?

doing things like that would be a interesting experiment.
a few possible results come to mind,
1. he’ll start paying closer attention
2. he’ll find out he actually really likes the taste of cranberry and orange juice(or whatever other things you end up mixing together.)
and you’ll have this funny story about how you found out he liked that combination.
3. he’ll get annoyed. (this is less likely, considering he seems like a cool guy)
4. all of the above.
Watch out girl..
You are trying to change Nature!!!
Hahahaha! I don’t know if I would even have the heart to do it anyway…all I ever do in real life is just sigh and rephrase the question. Oh well, at least my comic self got to do it
For my boys, I put a little bit of every juice in the refridgerator (apple, orange, peach mango, whatever) into a sippy cup and cut it with water. We call it Super Juice and they LOVE it!
That’s cute
This strip is just one scenario of when an “either/or” question goes wrong…which is pretty much all the time
Oooh, this strip is SOOO much like me & my BF. We’re together in 3 years and got nearly the same events like these cute characters! It’s so much entertaining
Actually, that’s my favorite way to drink cranberry juice – mixed with orange or another citrus.
Well speaking as a man let me just let all you ladies know. Usually when we hear an either or question we only hear the first part of the question before our brain answers. In this case “would you like cranberry juice” so we are already thinking yes and not really listening to the rest of the question. So just give us the first thing and we will be good with that.
Thank you for your help in solving this mystery!
